Real Men. Real Change. Real Support
Why I Wear Pink
Breast cancer affects everyone - it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman.
I wear pink as a reminder for those who are no longer with me (mi abuelita); and to remember the survivors in my family who will always be in the fight (my mom/my aunts)!! To remember the many lives (friends/family/patients) who I've helped by securing access to treatment, seeking and connecting with grant assistance during my time working in local community oncology clinics as an advocate."~ Geoff San Miguel
Breast cancer affects everyone. That’s why Real Men Wear Pink, a distinguished group of community leaders, is determined to raise awareness and money to support our mission to save more lives than ever from breast cancer.
About 268,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed.
About 63,960 new cases of carcinoma in situ (CIS) will be diagnosed in women (CIS is non-invasive and is the earliest form of breast cancer).
